car accident....

SO, I experienced my very first car accident today. Alexis, was driving and I just got starbucks and we were drvin' along and she went right through a stop sign and we got T boned by a pick up truck. I can't really blame her though, as you can see here http://totallylamerobot.com/junk/sign1.jpg the stop sign was all covered up by a tree and another sign. The way the road is it looks like you can just keep going. I saw the red of the stop sign but it was too late and we got slammed.

I closed my eyes, screamed some some of expletive, I hear the glass shatter and the car hit us. Our car ended up on the other side of the road. Now, we had full venti frappucinos... and that stuff went EVERYWHERE. I was soaked, literally head to toe, in strawberry and chocolate frappucinos.... my first thought was that I spilled my drink *sad face*. It was so strange it's hard to remember that moment I don't even know what was really going through my head. I was surprisingly calm, I knew what happened but I just had a really strange reaction to it. When I came to my senses I thought oh GOD my head hurts!! Then I thought that my friend must be dead because they hit her on the driver's side. But she said she was ok, we asked asked each other a million times if the other was ok lol.

Her door was crushed, she had to climb out my side, I have no idea who called 911, I was in such a daze. People showed up instantly from the stores around there, everyone was really nice and some dude gave us a towel to wipe all the crap off of us.

My head hurt like crazy so I decided to go to the hospital. They put a neck brace on me, and they made a comment about how thin my neck was haha. So, I got to chill in the emergency room for a while, I didn't even notice that I had actually hit my head on something till then. Yeah so, I have a concussion and stuff, but I'll be fine!

It was so scary though, I'm glad the only thing that died was the car x___x

So, I finally got what I wanted

As soon as I posted pics of Shane's xbox 360 around the internet (youtube, myspace, deviantart etc etc) I was bombarded with requests and commissions for people who wanted me to paint their stuff. People always told me that I should get paid to paint systems, but I never thought that it would actually happen. It's insane, I made that Gears of War 2 360 just for fun, and I love doing this stuff so much that I would do it for free, it's such a good feeling to get paid to do something you really love. Well, I haven't gotten paid YET but I have a pile of jobs lined up. Like, EVERYONE who knows me personally, some internet friends and some complete strangers. So yeah, I've always wanted to get paid to do art, and now it's actually starting to happen. I also have a secret desire to be internet famous, as stupid as that sounds. I keep finding my consoles on blogs, and forums, it feels weird and totally awesome.

So yeah, this is really awesome. So awesome that I had to share my happy feeling with the mighty internet on a blog. I think that means I'm a nerd. Anyways, I'm really happy right now, plus I have doritos, and real green tea with no sugar, and that adds +500 happiness points.
